*the whey protein was a gift / the recipe is all my own*
They guys over at Motion Nutrition sent me a bag of their whey protein to try out. In an effort to be a little healthier and see exactly what I could do with whey protein I decided to come up with a simple breakfast inspired recipe.
Ingredients: Makes about 6 depending on how thick you like them
2 bananas – mashed
170g of Motion Nutrition organic whey protein powder
Butter to grease the pan
Blueberries/Raspberries to garnish
Icing sugar – optional
Method: – Beyond Simple
Mash the bananas, whisk the eggs and combine.
Now slowly add in the whey protein powder to form a pancake batter.
You could if you like add in a few drops of honey.
Grease a pan with butter, heat and add the mixture to your preferred level of thickness.
Once cooked on one side (literally a couple of minutes), flip over and repeat. Don’t over cook as they can become dry.
Garnish with a little honey, fresh fruits and icing sugar if you want to be really fancy.
