Penney’s had their Spring/Summer 2016 press launch this week so I popped along to check out what was on offer in the menswear department. There was a Moroccan inspired theme running through the collection and the show space for Spring/Summer 2016. Elegant and stylish with a touch of old world charm and sophistication.
I’m all sorts of in love with the shirt and jacket combo below. Shirt is €13 and the jacket €38, which also has matching trousers for €19. The attention to detail and tailoring on the jacket are superb.
For a more casual Summer look there is a sizeable range of shorts on offer, which can be paired with either plain Ts or some of the casual tops in the range. The light blue shorts with the tan belt are €12, the cream with navy palm tree pattern are also priced at €12. Also on show for Spring Summer 2016 were a range of casual tops, both short and long sleeved. The prices range from €7 to about €15.
Color wise the range is sticking to light blues, blue, navy, white and is punctuated by more vibrant orange and earth tones.
Footwear was not neglected with grey/blue laces ups for €16, casual trainers for €16 and white laced shoes with a Moroccan inspired motif on the front for €16 For the kids they had some very trendy and stylish offerings too. I’d be all over both of these shirts myself. The show space had an eclectic mixed vibe to it with dark woods and a sense of masculinity to it. Dotted around of course were items from the Penney’s homeware range.
