Sometimes for lunch you just want a bowl of soup and some bread. I was sitting at my desk today thinking where is close and serves good food. Medley by Andrew Rudd is only a few minutes walk from my office. I had been before for an event with the Spanish Tourist Board and the food and service was impeccable. It has long been on my list to return to so today was the day.
The surrounds are modern and comfortable and there are seats along the window for a spot of people watching. The space is also multi functional and I’ve seen it used for weddings and launches in the past.
I ordered myself a glass if Spanish white wine (€6) and the soup of the day (€5.50) which comes with Guinness bread.
The soup on today was vegetable with curry. Let me tell you it was fan BLOODY tastic. Packed with flavour and smooth and warming and just plain delicious. Decent size bowl too. It came with a doorstep size of Guinness bread and I devoured every single bit of them both. If you want good food in comfortable surrounds with great service and not have to shell out a fortune then I urge you to try it. I’ll be back to sample more of the menu.
