I’ve been to Brussels twice this year already. I often think it gets over looked in favour of the more ‘flashier’ European cities like Paris, Rome and Barcelona. Brussels however has quite a lot to offer its visitors. It has beautiful architecture, museums and parks. Suicide Squad was one of the most anticipated movies of the year so its release was always going to be watched with scrutiny. Film critics were chomping at the bit for 5 p.m. August 2nd to arrive. Why? well there was an embargo on reviews until then. Many view embargo’s as a studio being worried their blockbuster won’t live up to the hype around it. Perhaps however its more a clever ploy to whip everyone into a frenzy just before release date. Whatever the case may be there was a flood of mixed reviews circulating the internet at 5.01 p.m.

It’s hard to imagine any adult that has made it through childhood without at least knowing the bones of this story. Sophie is an orphan with a case of insomnia and wanders the halls of her orphanage late at night. It’s on one of her nightly vigils that she spots our larger than life friend The BFG.
