Bruges is magical. A fairy tale village with beautiful architecture, cobbled streets, large squares and a series of canals which crisscross it. While in Brussels with work earlier this year I decided to take a day trip to Bruges. It’s just over an hour away on the train and well worth the trip. In this snapshot of Bruges I’ll tell you where to eat, drink, run (if your that way inclined) and some fun things to do. Continue reading

Marrakesh – The Food
Marrakesh was a culture shock in every sense of the word. It had been on my list to visit for years and finally in August 2015 I booked a week away. It tells the story of Tulip, a baby the Storks failed to deliver and Nate a little boy who longs for a brother or sister. Continue reading

I was sitting at home on a hung over Saturday thinking about what to have for dinner that evening. Usually if I’m hung over its Chinese or Dominos on the cards. In an effort to not choose the easy option of picking up the phone and ringing someone to bring me food I decided to make some perfectly simple homemade pizza. Continue reading
